Mike Hostilo’s Team in Macon, Georgia ordered a delicious Southern meal from Dawson's Kitchen this past month.

In March, Georgia was hit pretty hard by COVID-19. Many restaurants had to close their doors during the quarantine while others were able to serve pick-up orders along with new safety measures. A few months later many restaurants were able to serve food outside with social distancing in place. During this time quite a few local restaurants have struggled to stay in business.

While these changes were taking place Mike Hostilo's team was going through its own changes. The firm has a new experienced team in Macon, Georgia eager to help clients and passionate about helping the local community.

One of the restaurants that suffered during the COVID-19 quarantine is Dawson’s Kitchen. Dawson’s Kitchen is a family-owned and beloved local restaurant that has had its share of losses during these unprecedented times.

So, the new Mike Hostilo's team got together and decided to break bread over lunch while helping the community. On Monday, August 17th, the team ordered a delicious Southern meal with all the fixings from Dawson’s Kitchen. They had fried chicken, French fries, mac n cheese, collard greens, beef tips, rice, cabbage, squash casserole, fried pork chops, cornbread, green beans, rolls, and banana pudding. They finished off the meal with a delicious cake.

Dawson’s Kitchen is a family restaurant that specializes in Southern cuisine and delicious baked goods. They opened their doors in 1996 with a lunch menu that changes regularly and a variety of desserts. Dawson’s Kitchen is also a fresh market with local produce, and a la carte items such as pimento cheese spreads, deli meats, and other side dishes.

The new Mike Hostilo's team enjoyed the Southern comfort meal and will definitely be ordering more.
