Derek is originally from a small Nebraska town, but he has found his new home and community in Macon, Georgia.
He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication. Looking for a change of scenery, Derek moved to Savannah and completed his Juris Doctor degree.
He joined the firm in 2017 as a law clerk and initially developed an interest in the laws surrounding subrogation and accounting. His focus has developed to ensuring that his clients receive the quality representation that they need.
