Attorney Troy Gay joined the Mike Hostilo Law Firm in 2019, adding years of experience – and a proven record of results – to the litigation team.
Troy’s first experience in law was under the direct supervision of Georgia Supreme Court Justice George T. Smith in 1987 while in law school. After graduating, Troy launched a solo Plaintiff’s Personal Injury practice in Decatur, Georgia.
By 1997, Troy moved back to his hometown of Millen, Georgia, where he was appointed County Attorney for Jenkins County in 1998. He served in that capacity through 2017, gaining valuable experience that benefits his clients today. In 1999, Troy was elected Solicitor-General of Jenkins County, Georgia and served in that role until January 2019.
Throughout the late 90s and early 2000s, Attorney Troy Gay performed insurance defense work for Clarendon National Ins. Company. In the two decades that followed, he worked in domestic relations litigation and criminal defense work. Troy’s extensive experience not only makes him a tremendous asset to his clients, but an invaluable member of our team.
